Am 14.Mai 2010 veröffentlicht Moby nun sein neuestes Werk "Wait for me.Remixes!", ein Album bestehend aus überarbeiteten Track Versionen des von Kritikern gefeierten "Wait for Me" Albums, welches letztes Jahr über Moby's Label "Little Idiot" herauskam.

Moby konnte hierfür einige der Big Names im Dance Music Bereich wie Nummer Eins DJ Tiesto, Laidback Luke, Nachwuchstalent Gui Boratto und nicht zu vergessen den legendäre Carl Cox für sein Projekt gewinnen.

Tiesto zu seinem Remix: “It’s always an honor to remix Moby. He's a legend and a true electronic music pioneer. I chose “Shot In The Back Of The Head” because it was a track that I'd always enjoyed and connected to emotionally. I wanted to do something a little tougher and darker with the remix. I'm really happy with how it came out."

Carl Cox: “Moby has been such a major part of the electronic scene it's always a pleasure to work with him. “Walk with me” stood out instantly as a track on the album I wanted to remix with it’s haunting vocal and spiritual sound, I wanted to really push my limits production wise with this remix. Bringing an electro tinge to the track and a constantly building drum infused bass line which really draws you in, this remix really stands out for me from the style of music I am normally associated with...”

Laidback Luke sagt: “'Wait For Me' instantly grabbed me with the piano melody and the melancholic atmosphere. I thought back to seeing footage from Moby playing my track 'Shake It Down' at Ultra Music Festival during Miami Winter Music Conference. So, I made a techy / melancholic rework / ‘Shake It Down’ type remix!”

“Wait For Me. Remixes” wird wieder über Little Idiot Records erscheinen und ist sowohl als digitaler Download als auch als Doppel CD erhältlich. Während sich auf CD1 die DJ-Remixe zu Mobys großen Hits aneinanderreihen, liefert uns Moby auf CD 2 seinen exklusiven „Wait For Me“ Moby DJ Mix ab.

Der Veröffentlichung von „Wait for me. Remixes!“ Mitte Mai geht die neue Single “Wait For Me“ voran, die auch schon Titeltrack des Originalvorgängeralbums war.

Auf der Single B-Seite findet sich unter anderem „Gone To Sleep“, ein brandneuer, bisher unveröffentlichter Track, außerdem eine Akustikversion der letzten Moby Single „One Time We Lived“ und ein knackiges Remix Packet mit Beiträgen von Laidback Luke, Yousef, Paul Kalkbrenner, Zodiac Cartel, Villa, Jean Elan und Christoffer Berg (Fever Ray).

Bei der preisgekrönten Dokumentarfotografin Jessica Dimmock, mit der Moby schon des Öfteren zusammengearbeitet hat, sie war zum Beispiel für die Presse-Fotos der „Wait For Me“-Kampagne zuständig, wurde zudem ein „Wait For Me“-Video in Auftrag gegeben. Außerdem fand auf www.mobygratis.com ein Video-Wettbewerb statt, bei dem Filmemacher aus der ganzen Welt die Chance hatten, ein eigenes Video zum Song beizusteuern. Der Gewinner steht bereits fest.
